“Give In To Me” - Michael Jackson
One of the best Rock songs ever… Rest in peace MJ
“Strong Enough” - Stacie Orrico
On days when I’m full of doubt, this song tends to be my soundtrack… In God I am strong, and this reminds me of that.

“Faith” - Nayanna Holley
Amazing record from an amazing vocalist… who I personally know is an amazing person:

no longer will I buy
into the fabrication,
falsified reality
they’re sellin’ to this nation
why must we consume the status quo
as if it’s sustenance
buy and sell us like cattle
to try to rewind the present tense
land of the free
the home of the greed
watch us bleed
from their ivory towers
where need
isn’t known
all we’ve ever seen is pain
blood, sweat and tears
leave a stain
still we remain
proud Americans
refusing the medicine
my brethren betrayed
by the leaders who think they
are better than the rest of us
constantly messin’ with us
never fails, and never ends
if it were up to them
we would never win…

“I Miss U” - Keshia Chanté
Can’t help it… it’s a catchy little tune.
“Lost In Translation” - christianSoul
recorded July 2009
This tune is the very first song I recorded… only because I couldn’t find any decent singers to collaborate with after moving to LA the previous year.
As a guy pursuing a career in songwriting and production, I had been running away from being considered a “singer” ever since I recorded this song. However, God has funny ways of leading us to the conclusion that our destiny may not come packaged in a form that’s familiar or even comfortable.
Now as I take a doctor-ordered hiatus from singing (thanks to a bruise on my vocal cord), I’m coming to terms with being considered by others as a “singer”. It doesn’t define me (as God has blessed me with many talents), but I will no longer run from it.
